A bystander was killed while two of them including an NRI woman were injured seriously when a jeep hit them on Moga-Ludhiana road near here today, police said.

The vehicle which was coming from Ludhiana and hit the bystanders from behind while they were waiting for a bus at a bus stand, they said adding the driver of the vehicle fled after the incident.

The injured have been admitted to Moga civil hospital.

The deceased was identified Gurnam Singh and the injured as Gurcharan Singh and NRI woman Sarbpreet Kaur. PTI
