NRI filmmaker Jagmohan Mundhra from California will direct a
film, revolving around a 40-year-old virgin, who gets into a relationship
with a single mother of three, with a no-sex pact. It is a remake
of the 2005 Hollywood comedy and to be produced by Anuj Sharma.
Actor Govinda said:
- UK NRIs don’t always speak perfect angrezi (english).
Most of the NRIs retain their desi accent and speak a mix of
English and Hindi.
- The key is to be true to the character to be essayed. Speaking
English is no great shakes, I can manage it
- Talking about weight loss routine, I began when I was shooting
in Bangkok. In spite of all this, I have been working round-the-clock
to complete all my assignments before I leave for London.
Mundhra's name was suggested by Govinda who feels that the director
has an equity overseas. After the success of Partner, Govinda
is very keen to make an impact in the overseas market.
Mundhra has apparently decided to hire an in-house language instructor,
on the sets, to make sure that Govinda’s diction doesn’t
dither.
You may be remembered that Amitabh Bachchan saying, "Madam
I'm yourAdam", towards the end of the Kajra re song, to Aishwarya
Rai?. After directing Aishwarya Rai in Provoked, director Jagmohan
Mundhra aka Jag seems to have been so impressed by the line that
he has used it as a title for his next film.
