Virsa American Punjabi club brought a melodious entertaining evening with Gidhas, Bollywood and Bhangra dances with sit down dinner surrounded by a beautiful set up in diamond bar center, City of Diamond Bar Ca. on Sep 8th, 2012.

- Punjabi singers Akash Deep, Dipali Singh, Vishal Viz and Pritam Sohi with stage queen Asha Sharma entertained the audience.
- Namneet Virk born and brought up in this country started the program with religious song Pata pata singha da very in her melodious voice. Namneet started her singing and gidha performances in first mela teeyan da six years back She been performing in every mela since then.
- Young children performed gidha and Bhangra dances .
- Rupal Singh with degree in performing are from Austin university showed his talent in bollywod style solo performance.
Stage queen Asha Sharma took the stage with her entertaining lyrics from famous Punjabi writers. With all professional Punjabi singers it was hard to decide who the best was. People had a wonderful time together with their families and friends.
Virsa American Punjabi club is committed to narrow the generation gap and facilitate to bring all generations under one roof. During the event, a “Sohni Jori” picked and the award was given to Jatinder and Rupinder Dhaliwal. Navreet Kaur got the Maharani award and Surinder Bhogal got the Maharaja Award. Jasmin Bajwa was selected as “Sohni Mutiyar” and Karan Deep Singh got Banka Gabru award. To encourage the little girls who were dressed up in authentic Punjabi style received phulkaries as well. With overwhelming response from the audience who is looking for a healthy and purposeful entertainment, all the tickets for the event were sold out in advance.
Virsa American Punjabi apologizes to our friends and families whom we could not be accommodated to join the event this time. With the Community support, hopefully, we will be able to provide more purposeful and entertaining programs in the future.
